The Ain’t Got No Time Band started with an email: “I’m starting a band and you’re all in it,” said Matt Retz, one of the band’s founding members.

What it became was a group of musicians, who love music and playing and…well, they don’t have time at the same time all the time!

Featuring the dual guitars of Dave Manoucheri – a Midwesterner turned Californian who is self-taught and with a blues background – and Matt Retz – a Northern Californian who has played in bands more years than he hasn’t.  The two share vocal duties.  Both have recorded albums in 2019 and 2020 with the backing of the Ain’t Got No Time Band.

Joining them is bassist and vocalist Eric Rosander, who also sings with the acapella group RSVP, holds the bottom end and lead vocals and harmonies.

Keyboardist Rob Sabino is the rockstar of the  band with recording credits from Chic to Jagger to Madonna and Bowie.  He plays keys, sings, and writes songs as well.

They’re joined by the dual percussionists Kevin Mooney – who came through bands and gigs from the age of 12 in the Mountain states and California– and Benjamin Retz, who alternates between percussion and the kit with Mooney on occasion.

The band plays what they love…and love to play…and they certainly have time for you to rock out!
